Casa Sweet Pea, or “Chicharito,” is a bright and modern home located in Santiago, one of Merida’s most active neighborhoods. The home is just minutes away from markets, art galleries, and amazing sights while offering the amenities of modern living. The house includes a washer/dryer unit, spacious bedrooms with ample closet space and gorgeous views of the patio. Casa Sweet Pea is the newest addition to our portfolio of homes in Merida and was recently featured on House Hunters International.

The house has a light and open feel with the addition of numerous skylights for ventilation to help keep things cool as well as mini splits in all of the bedrooms and living spaces.

The kitchen is well equipped with everything you need if you want to cook. Purified water is provided, as well as coffee. The refrigerator has ice made from purified water as well, so no need to worry.  We provide you with basic kitchen equipment and appliances including a toaster and coffee machine so that you can fuel up with a satisfying breakfast to start your day. Coffee, creamer and sugar is provided — so you can avoid running to the nearest mini-mart for these basics.  The patio is completely enclosed by high walls for privacy and security so that you can swim and enjoy the house with peace of mind.  The house features custom made furniture from Yucatan Custom Furniture as well as antiques and artwork made by Merida’s local artists.
